Turning conversations into actionable knowledge.
About project
Briefly is an AI-powered meeting intelligence platform designed to help teams organize meeting information, capture important decisions, and manage action items in one place.
The project explores how AI can simplify the way professionals document discussions, retrieve information, and turn conversations into meaningful action.
My focus was to understand existing meeting workflows, identify user pain points, analyze competing products, and translate research insights into a practical product experience.

The problem
Meetings end. The work doesn’t.
Teams make important decisions during meetings, but keeping track of everything afterward can be challenging. Notes get scattered across different tools, action items are easily overlooked, and finding information from previous discussions often requires revisiting lengthy transcripts or documents.
The challenge was to explore how an AI-powered platform could help teams move beyond meeting summaries and create a more connected workflow for managing decisions, responsibilities, and follow-ups.
The key question:
How might we help teams turn meeting conversations into organized, searchable, and actionable knowledge?
Research & Insights
Understanding the gaps in existing workflows.
I explored the meeting intelligence space to understand how professionals manage meeting information and where existing experiences could be improved.
My research activities included:
Competitive analysis of Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai, Granola, and Fathom.
Affinity mapping and research synthesis.
Identifying key problem areas and design opportunities.
Developing a representative persona and user journey.
Key themes explored
Fragmented meeting information.
Untracked action items.
Trust in AI-generated summaries.
Difficulty retrieving past decisions.
Note: Present these as validated research findings only when supported by actual research evidence.
