About project
FoodyGo is a social food discovery platform that combines restaurant exploration, food recommendations, and community-driven content into one seamless experience. The goal was to simplify how users discover places to eat, share their dining experiences, and make informed decisions through authentic recommendations.
The Problem
Finding a good place to eat often requires switching between multiple platforms for restaurant reviews, menus, recommendations, and social content. Existing experiences make food discovery fragmented, making it difficult for users to trust recommendations, compare options, and decide where to dine. The challenge was to create one intuitive platform that combines food inspiration, restaurant discovery, and community engagement.
Research & Insights
To understand how people discover restaurants and make dining decisions, I conducted user interviews, competitor analysis, journey mapping, and usability research. The findings revealed that users rely heavily on visual content, authentic reviews, and personalized recommendations before choosing where to eat.
