About Roomeet
Roomeet is a smart room and roommate rental platform designed to simplify the process of finding compatible roommates and available rooms. I worked as the UX/UI Designer and Project Manager, leading the research, defining the user experience strategy, and designing interaction flows to support efficient discovery, matching, and communication within a complex rental ecosystem.
Challenge
Users often struggle with unstructured listings, unclear compatibility indicators, and inefficient communication when searching for rooms or roommates. The challenge was to design a user experience that could organize complex information, reduce cognitive load, and support confident decision-making across diverse user needs and scenarios.
Research
The project was grounded in academic and exploratory research, including user behavior analysis, problem validation, and system feasibility studies. Research insights highlighted the need for structured filters, transparent information hierarchy, and clear interaction flows to support trust and decision-making.
