About Fashionista
Fashionista Fashion is a self-initiated UX concept project created to explore user experience challenges in fashion e-commerce. The project focuses on designing an intuitive shopping experience for browsing, product discovery, filtering, and checkout, while applying user-centered design principles to improve clarity and ease of use across the customer journey.
Challenge
Fashion e-commerce platforms often overwhelm users with large product catalogs, unclear filtering options, and friction during checkout. The challenge was to design a user experience that simplifies product discovery, supports quick decision-making, and reduces cognitive load while maintaining a visually engaging shopping flow.
Research
Research focused on understanding common user behaviors and pain points in online fashion shopping through competitive analysis and usability observation. Key insights highlighted the need for clearer product categorization, effective filtering, consistent interaction patterns, and a streamlined checkout flow to reduce drop-offs and confusion.
